Realme Book could launch with Windows 11 out of the box, suggests tweet |

Realme Book laptop will be eligible for Windows 11 update, the iterative upgrade over Windows 10 that Microsoft just showed off to the world. Windows 11 brings forth quite a lot of new features and will be available for download towards the end of the year. Most off-the-shelf laptops launched in the past few years should support it, but desktop users may have to jump through a few extra hoops. It is likely Realme Book will launch with Windows 10 and will get the upgrade whenever it is available. Of course, the teaser isn’t very specific about the matter and there could be multiple ways of interpreting it. If we look at it from another, more optimistic perspective, one could also assume that the Realme Book will launch with Windows 11 out of the box.

The Realme Book laptop could potentially be one of the world’s first laptops to launch with Windows 11 out of the box. However, we don’t know a whole lot about the actual laptop, other than the fact that it will draw heavy inspiration from the MacBook Air. We may have to wait a few more weeks before knowing for sure, as it is set to be launched in India sometime before Diwali, alongside Realme’s first-ever tablet — the Realme Pad.

Given that Realme’s whole schtick revolves around launching affordable products, it is unlikely that the Realme Book will pack very high-end hardware. At best, we’re probably looking at a 3:2 FHD screen, an Intel Comet Lake processor (Ice/Tiger Lake would be ideal), and a ~Rs 50,000 price tag for the base variant. It has the potential to open up Windows 11 to a lot of users on a strict budget.
