Ruth Langsford: Eamonn and I love a good gossip about celebs over a kebab

The This Morning and Loose Women presenter admitted there is a lot of fake niceness at glitzy parties and afterwards she loves to unwind and tell the truth with her husband and co-host.

Ruth, 60, said: “After award ceremonies Eamonn and I always end up in a kebab shop.

“They never feed you at those events. It is like you have been getting ready at 3pm as you are on camera at 7pm so you have maybe had lunch hours ago and you are bloody starving.

“I am in my long frock and say, ‘Chicken kebab and chips please’.

“The best part of the night is that we get home and sit and s*** everybody off. Eamonn and I like and dislike the same people.”

Ruth told Kate Thornton on the White Wine Question Time podcast that the secret to their 10-year marriage was respect.
