Ruth Langsford puts This Morning drama behind her as she marks Eamonn Holmes
This Morning host Ruth Langsford wished her husband Eamonn Holmes a happy 61st birthday on social media. The presenter marked the special day with a cosy picture of the pair, after ITV confirmed that Dermot O’leary and Alison Hammond will be taking over their Friday slot in the new year.
“Happy Birthday to my wonderful, handsome, kind, generous, clever, big hearted and incredibly funny husband @eamonnholmes Love you,” Ruth wrote on Instagram.
The couple could be seen in a warm embrace in the picture, which she shared with her 975,000 followers.
Earlier in week the couple addressed the news, that after 13 years of presenting This Morning on a Friday, there would be a “changing of the guard”.
“It’s a changing of the guard on Fridays from January,” Ruth informed her fans two days ago.
