Samsung confirms next Galaxy Unpacked event will be on August 11 – Smartprix


Samsung conducts a bunch of Unpacked events in a year. But, this will be one of the bigger ones. A lot has been leaked about this, including the event date. But now the company has officially revealed the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event will be held on August 11, 2021. And as the announcement post teases, you may expect new foldable smartphones. These could be the Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Flip 3, and Galaxy Z Flip 3 Lite. Besides these folding phones, the company is likely to release new Galaxy Watches and Galaxy Buds 2 also. The event will be streamed online through Samsung’s website and YouTube channel.

Now we pretty much know and have even seen what the show has to offer thanks to popular leaker Evan Blass. Over the course of the last few weeks, he has shared high-quality renders of the forthcoming Galaxy devices. Take a look —

Similarly, you can also look at the design of Galaxy Z Flip 3 below. It is reported that the cover display of Flip 3 will be bigger at 1.9 inches. It appears to be so in the renders. There will be a Z Flip 3 Lite too apparently. Let’ see.

He has also released pictures of some smartwatches and speculations are rife that the company may also launch Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, Galaxy Watch Active 4, and new Galaxy Buds 2 too.


The pictures revealed to show the smartwatch in different colors and with rotating bezels. You can also see two buttons on the dial edge of the clock. The Watch Active is said to come in two sizes of 44mm and 40mm. It can be launched in grey, white, green, and peach-colored options.
