Sana Khan's husband Anas Saiyad refutes claims that he forced her to quit showbiz; says, 'I wanted her to give it some time, but she was certain' | Bollywood Life

Sana Khan got married to businessman-Islamic scholar Anas Mufti Sayiad on November 24. The actress and her husband have been trolled for being a ‘mismatched couple’. This is not all. Many people assumed that Anas Sayiad was instrumental in Sana Khan’s decision to quit showbiz. In an interview with a leading daily, he cleared that he never forced Sana to live her life in a certain manner. He said that Sana Khan wanted to detach herself from the world of glamour, and he too was shocked when she said that she was quitting the entertainment industry.

In a conversation with The Times Of India, Anas Saiyad said, “I have never forced her to lead life in a certain way. She announced on Instagram around six months ago that she has taken hijab. People thought that it’s because of the pandemic and no work, but she always wanted to detach herself from what she was doing. I wanted her to give it some time, but she was certain. In fact, I was shocked, too, when she announced that she was quitting the industry.”

Anas said that he prayed to God to get married to Sana, and believes he is the happiest with her. He also added that people can troll them how much they want, but only they knew how compatible they were. Anas Saiyad told The Times Of India, “I prayed to God that I want to marry Sana and he heard my prayers. I feel that I wouldn’t have been this happy if I had married anybody else. Sana is not full of herself. She is affable, forgiving and has a clean heart. I always wanted a girl who complemented and completed me. People still ask me how I got married to an actress, but yeh chhoti soch ke log hain (they are narrow-minded people). It’s my life and no one should comment on it. People are free to think that we are a mismatched couple, but only we know how compatible we are.”

The couple are now enjoying their honeymoon in Kashmir. Sana Khan who was a part of Bigg Boss 8 and films like Hate Story 3 and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha said that she has decided to leave films, and wants to serve humanity from now on.
