Bandai Namco’s upcoming anime-styled RPG Scarlet Nexus is not getting an official release in India. Bandai Namco’s Indian distributor, E-xpress Interactive, isn’t bringing physical copies of the game to the country, as is evidenced by the lack of a store listing for Scarlet Nexus on Games The Shop.

Those who wanted to get their hands on Scarlet Nexus, however, will either have to settle for the digital version, or wait for parallel importers like Mcube Games or the grey market to bring copies in. Digitally, Scarlet Nexus is priced at Rs. 3,999 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S for the standard edition, and Rs. 5,299 for the Digital Edition. On PC, Scarlet Nexus is priced at Rs. 1,999.

Digital pre-orders for Scarlet Nexus went live back in March. The game is set to release on June 25 across all platforms. Alongside the release date, Bandai Namco had also announced a tie-in anime series for Scarlet Nexus, which is currently still in development. The anime will be released in summer this year, produced by Sunrise Inc.

After rumours making the rounds about Scarlet Nexus coming to Xbox Game Pass, Bandai Namco eventually made it official that this is not the case. “We have no plans to bring Scarlet Nexus to Xbox Game Pass at this time and are excited for its launch on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC on June 25,” said a Bandai Namco spokesperson.
