Shah Rukh Khan to begin shooting for Pathan by end of this month

Shah Rukh Khan had taken a break of sorts from films after Aanand L Rai’s Zero. The actor openly claimed that in his almost three-decade-long career he had never taken a break and wanted time off to spend with his children and family, as well as read a few scripts. SRK is ready to begin shooting soon though. After taking time out for almost two years, the actor is set to return back on a film set. SRK will be beginning his journey with Pathan, which also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. The film’s shooting is set to go on floors as soon as SRK returns from Dubai by the end of this month.

A source confirmed to a leading daily, “While the November schedule will be in Mumbai with only SRK, co-stars, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham join him early next year during an overseas stint of the film. It is a battle royale between SRK and John, with Deepika playing an important thread, taking the narrative forward.” The film is expected to wrap up by June 2021 and release in the last leg of next year.
