Lady Colin Campbell, 71, has alleged Meghan Markle, 39, has been buying up thousands of copies of her own book The Bench in a bid to boost sales. The aristocrat claims the Duchess Of Sussex has been purchasing multiple copies of the children’s book and “distributing” them to libraries.

Lady Colin made the claim while answering a question from a fan on her YouTube channel, who highlighted Meghan had “thanked her readers” for making the book a New York Times Bestseller.

The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star believes Meghan could have taken inspiration from former US president John F Kennedy, who is reported to have also bought copies of his book.
