‘So excited’ Anton du Beke speaks out on replacing Bruno Tonioli as judge on Strictly 2021
Anton du Beke, 54, has taken to Twitter to break his silence following the announcement that he will be taking Bruno Tonioli’s place on the Strictly Come Dancing 2021 judging panel.
The professional dancer shared a post confirming the news from Strictly’s official page.
It read: “It’s the judges!
“Please welcome back to Strictly, Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse AND Anton Du Beke, who’ll be stepping into Bruno Tonioli’s shoes for 2021!”
Anton wrote alongside the announcement in view of his 259,000 followers this morning: “I’m so exited!(sic)
“Thrilled to be joining these wonderful judges @bbcstrictly.”
Fans took to the comments section of Anton’s post to congratulate him on the news.
One person wrote: “The news we wanted and needed. Very excited. You will be amazing x.”
Another added: “Wonderful news Anton. To quote Brucie…You’re my favourite.”
A third fan commented: “Gutted your not dancing this year but glad to see you on panel hopefully back on dance floor next year.”(sic)
