Sony is offering Double Discounts and PlayStation Plus free games in June

The latest deals from Sony have arrived, and it looks like PlayStation Plus subscribers can snap up the best discounts. The news comes courtesy of the PlayStation Store, which includes a refreshed list of deals on PS4 games.

The new Double Discount Sale is now live and as the name suggests, Sony has beefed up the normal discounts available with a PS Plus subscription.

Deals ranging from 20% to 40% are now available to those with a live subscription and the time to run through the over 100 titles included.

Highlights range from Red Dead Redemption 2, Fallout 76, to God of War and Resident Evil 2.

The discounts on each game are different, with the average offering 30% off the normal retailer price.

Most games are tied to the PlayStation 4 platform, with NBA 2K21 and Borderlands 3 one of two options available with a PS5 upgrade.

There are also a number of PlayStation VR games available to buy at a lower price, including Skyrim and Dirt Rally VR.

This is just the latest deal made available by Sony this month, following the release of a new range of free games.

Both PlayStation Plus and PS Now were heavily discounted by Sony in the lead up to this sale as part of the Days of Play event.

So if you did manage to snag a 12-month subscription for less than usual, it might be a good time to check out these latest deals from Sony.

For the rest of June, PlayStation Plus is offering Operation: Tango, Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown and Star Wars: Squadrons.

These are the latest monthly free games that can be added to your account for no extra charge and remain available for as long as you have a subscription. Full descriptions of all three games can be found below:

STARS WARS SQUADRONS FOR PS4
