Joining the list of people who got engaged or married in the pandemic are top Bollywood writers, Himanshu Sharma and Kanika Dhillon. The news was shared by Kanika Dhillon on her social media page. She looked radiant in a yellow Punjabi dress for the ring ceremony. While Himanshu Sharma is famous for his work in films like Tanu Weds Manu and Raanjhnaa, Kanika Dhillon is known for her works like Kedarnath, Manmarziyaan and Guilty. Sonal Chauhan, Taapsee and others have congratulated Kanika Dhillon. Himanshu Sharma and Swara Bhasker called it quits in 2019. As per reports, it ended because he was not keen on marriage. Himanshu Sharma said, “After being in a relationship for a while now.. we are happy to announce we are engaged and getting married soon. Looking forward to a happy and great life ahead…” Kanika Dhillon was earlier married to Telugu filmmaker Prakash Kovelamudi. He is the grandson of K Raghavendra Rao. She said they were separated in 2017, but revealed it to the public in 2019. She said, “This is to clarify and put to rest all kind of speculation that is being bandied about by a certain section of the media regarding my separation with Sahil. It is most unfortunate to see the level of irresponsibility exercised. What is even more unfortunate is that our colleagues names are being tarnished and maligned by this media.
