While the Bollywood wives have been sharing their personal experiences from their lives, Neelam was recently asked about the most outlandish rumour she has heard about herself. She revealed that at one point of time, there were chatters that she was still in her closet.

“I was actually gay (laughs). When I heard about this, I was like, ‘Okay, I guess this is how rumours start, out of nowhere.’ This came back to me. It wasn’t written about but it was just via someone that I got to hear about it,” Neelam Kothari Soni told Mashable India in an interview.

The web series chronicles the lives of popular star wives such as Maheep Kapoor, Neelam Kothari, Seema Khan and Bhavana Pandey. It is backed by Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, the digital arm of Dharma Productions.

The trailer of the show revealed that Seema, Maheep, Bhavana and Neelam have been friends for 25 years and hence share a strong bond. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan also make a cameo in the trailer.

For the uninitiated, Maheep Kapoor is the wife of actor Sanjay Kapoor, Seema Khan is married to Sohail Khan, Bhavana Pandey is the wife of Chunky Pandey and Neelam Kothari is married to Samir Soni.
