Tottenham chief Daniel Levy receives big Arkadiusz Milik January transfer boost

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy did not sanction a move for Arkadiusz Milik this summer because Napoli were demanding an asking price of around £25million but the Italian side have reportedly lowered their valuation and would be open to doing a deal in January.
Jose Mourinho landed a number of his top targets this summer with the likes of Gareth Bale and Sergio Regulion joining from Real Madrid.
A back-up for Harry Kane was also brought in with Carlos Vinicius joining on loan from Benfica.
But to challenge for the Premier League title most clubs usually need four world class forwards.
If Spurs are to return for Milik in January then they could wrap up a deal for a cut-price – but they will face stern competition.
Goal report that Napoli are willing to accept £13.5million to offload the striker when the transfer window reopens.
Alternatively, the 26-year-old’s contract is due to expire at the end of the season so he can sign a pre-agreement for free after the turn of the year.
In October Milik told SportoweFakty: “Napoli wanted to extend my contract for five years and gave me two choices: to sign or leave.
“I decided that I would like to try something else. I think this is the right time to try a new challenge.
“There has never been hostility on my part towards Napoli. I wanted to solve everything professionally.”
“He’d play every week, score a lot of goals, get his confidence up and impress Gareth Southgate.”
Rangers are currently 13 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership, having played two more games than second-placed Celtic.
