Warzone patch notes: Cold War Season 4 Red Doors secrets revealed for PS4 and Xbox

Season 4 has begun in Call of Duty Warzone, and developers Raven Software have revealed all the secret changes they are making.

The big news is that several weapons are being nerfed or having their stats changed to make way for a new meta.

The good news is that most of this is pretty small in size, making today’s Warzone update easy to download and play.

This week’s Warzone Season 4 release will only require around 12GB of install space for most.

However, it should be noted that PC users will also need 27.1-28.2 GB of additional space on their hard drive for the patch copying process; this is only temporary space that is reclaimed upon completion of the patch installation and is not an additional download.

There have also been other low-key changes made to Warzone today, including introducing new points of interests and the Red Doors locations to Verdensk.

For those who might not have found one yet, a Red Door provides a fast-travel option for those who want to escape an area.

They can usually be located after hearing a humming sound, and appear to move around the map.

This means finding one can be difficult but initial reports suggest that being sucked into one rewards you with a number of Orange crates.

The official Season 4 patch notes adds: “Our intel cannot explain the origin of these mysterious red doors around Verdansk, but one thing is certain: They allow you to [[REDACTED]] around the [[REDACTED]]. What’s behind them? Explore and enter them to [[REDACTED]] across the [[REDACTED]].

“Red Doors won’t [[REDACTED]] unless you ping them, and after you step through, there’s no telling [[REDACTED]] exiting out the other side… and stepping into a [[REDACTED]].”

Gamers who are lucky enough to find a random Red Door will be rewarded with Advanced UAVs and a trip to a new location on the map.

They will also find themselves starting at some very familiar numbers featured in previous Black Ops games.
