What to Watch this Week: A Simple Murder, Bicchoo Ka Khel, Raat Baaki Hai – 5 titles to satiate your binge-watching urge | Bollywood Life

It’s a new week, and that means it’s our job to lay down your dose of entertainment. And with no new releases again hitting theatres despite several cinema halls across the country being reopened with safety measures intact, the need of the hour is to turn to OTT platforms for your entertainment fix. However, with so many streaming services and tons of titles on them to choose from, we’ve decided to streamline it down to five web series and web films that have or are releasing across these seven days, which are perfect for your binge-watching needs. A Simple Murder(web series) – Sony Liv(20th November)

A short and snappy 7-episodic web show, comprising a little under half an hour each episode — this darkly humorous crime tale, featuring Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Priya Anand, Amit Sial and Sushant Singh has all the makings of being a fun, pocket-sized entertainer, especially for those who love their black comedies. What’s more, the reviews are already quite positive.

Bicchoo Ka Khel(web series) –Zee5(20th November)

Though two episodes more than A Simple Murder, this Divyendu Sharma whodunit is another short and snappy show, with all the makings of a fun, pint-sized murder mystery, with a smattering of a Mirzapur hangover courtesy (in a good way) courtesy our very own Munna Tripathi.

Raat Baaki Hai (web movie)–Zee5(20th November)

Another suspense thriller, albeit in movie form this Paoli Dam-Annup Sonii-Rahul Dev starrer offers the opportunity of another murder to solve for mystery lovers albeit in a slightly different way from that of whodunit.

Anwar Ka Ajab Kissa (web movie)–Eros Now(20th November)

A slice-of-life dramedy, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui, with a cameo by Pankaj Tripathi — this one is tailoro-made for lovers of great acting.

Middle Class Melodies (web movie)– Amazon Prime (20th November)

Starring Vijay Deverakonda’s younger brother, Anand Devarakonda (yes, they spell their surnames differently), this Telugu movie is another slice-of-life dramedy about, as the title suggests, middle-class people, their hopes, beliefs, struggles and aspirations.
