The winner of the 2021 NASCAR All-Star Race made two daring passes to collect a cool million.

Kyle Larson went from third to first in the final stage of the race Sunday night at Texas, sweeping past Chase Elliott and Brad Keselowski on the outside early in a 10-lap shootout to the checkered flag.

Larson’s move made him a winner for the third week in a row, following regular-season triumphs at Charlotte and Sonoma. More importantly for the Hendrick Motorsports driver, he earned the $1 million winner-take-all prize.

Below is more about Larson’s win Sunday, plus the complete results of the race.

Who won the NASCAR All-Star Race yesterday?

This is a copy-and-paste sentence at the moment: Kyle Larson won Sunday’s NASCAR Cup Series race. His latest triumph was in the All-Star Race at Texas Motor Speedway. Larson collected his second All-Star win, with his first coming in 2019.

Larson squeezed past Elliott and Keselowski with eight laps to go after starting the sixth and final stage of the 100-lap exhibition in third place. Larson and Keselowski traded the lead before Larson took command.

“That last restart worked out exactly how I needed it to,” Larson said. “I wanted Chase to not get a good run down the back. Thankfully, I think the 12 (Ryan Blaney) got to his inside and I just shoved him down the back and he probably thought I was going to just follow him and I was like, ‘There’s got to be enough grip where we’d be running for one corner.’

“It was a little slick up there, but I was able to get it and then hold him off from there,” Larson added. “I can’t believe it.”

Keselowski broke up another Hendrick 1-2 sweep by bringing home his Team Penske Ford second. Elliott finished third.

“It feels like just to run second to the Hendrick cars right now is kind of an accomplishment,” Keselowski said. “They’re just stupid fast and I had (Larson) off Turn 4 but they just have so much speed. He just motored right on back by me.”

NASCAR All-Star Race results from Texas

First place was the only position that really mattered Sunday night because no points were paid out, just the $1 million prize that Kyle Larson snagged with his late pass for the win.

The Cup Series will resume racing for points Sunday, June 20, at Nashville Superspeedway in the Ally 400 (3:30 p.m. ET; NBCSN, TSN3, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio). NASCAR last raced on the 1.33-mile oval in 2001, but this will be the first Cup Series race at the track. The Xfinity and Truck series previously raced there.

Because Nashville is a new track on the Cup schedule, there will be a qualifying session at 11:05 a.m. ET on race day.
