Are schools closing early for Christmas?
In recent weeks, unions have called for schools to close on December 11 across Britain, one week ahead of the scheduled end-of-term date, December 18.
There are a variety of options being considered, from closing a week early to shutting two or three days before the date proposed.
First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford said he wanted schools in Wales to stay open.
Councils have been in discussions with the Welsh Government, headteachers and the Welsh Local Government Association over the last few days about moving all teaching online.
