Behind Diana Vogue cover that made history: Diana’s make-up artist ‘She was very trusting’
To commemorate the Princess of Wales and the anniversary of her 60th birthay, her friend and make-up artist Mary Greenwell appeared on This Morning.
“Forget all the curtseying and whatever, she sat down in the chair and let us all do whatever we wanted to her.”
When asked by Phillip Schofield if Diana had a specific style of make she wanted, Mary replied “no”.
She said: “She was always very trusting.”
Diana liked a red lip, the expert claimed, on occasion, preferring a deep red.
The dress is thought to be worth £31,000 in today’s money.
Diana’s youngest son, Prince Harry, has flown back to the UK to be at the unveiling of the statue of Diana today.
An expert claimed the “dazzling” Prince Harry is back.
Judi James told Express.co.uk: “He launched the familiar ‘dazzling’ version of Harry that fans have been missing, meeting winners and celebrities with the same levels of animated fun, clearly picking his moments in terms of when to create contagious smiles and when to use active listening signals to register empathy and concern.
“The cheeky smile was back in place, with his slightly jutting lower jaw and his eye-crinkling suggesting genuine delight at having fun with the younger guests.”
