Overnight, Dakota stepped out at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York at the premiere of Cha Cha Real Smooth. For the event, the actor opted for a sleek white blazer dress by cult-status A-list brand Area. From the front, this looks like a classic blazer situation…but all is not as it seems.

On her way to the event, Dakota was spotted jumping into a car, revealing the back of the number in the process.

Far from a minimalist ’fit, the reverse side of this blazer dress features an open back, complete with glorious chunky crystal detailing, arranged in the shape of a spine and rib cage.

Amazing, right? Right.

Dakota accessorized the look with stacked and embellished hoop earrings and a pair of PVC pumps.

As for the beauty side of things, the 32-year-old repped her signature full fringe and wore the rest of her back in an elegant updo. Dakota finished the look with a bright eye, featuring voluminous lashes, paired with bronzed cheeks and a rosy lip.
