I’m so beyond excited to be going to the annual Santa Fe Indian Market in August, where I will be checking out booths and booths of Indigenous-made goods.
Camping, Adirondacks
This summer, I am going to be camping in the Adirondacks around a lake. Because it is an outdoorsy trip that also has a water element, wearing a chic and comfortable one-piece, a quick-dry pair of shorts, a weather-proof backpack, and a good sport sandal is key. Oh, and also having a durable cooler that matches.
Chateau de Bagnols, France
I cannot wait to travel internationally again, and I’m hoping to visit Berlin, Stockholm, and France in the near future to catch up with friends and explore new cities. It’s been hard to have to witness big life events from afar, so I’m excited to go to weddings, meet new babies, and just enjoy each other’s company again soon. One of my favorite places we went to on a previous trip to France was Chateau de Bagnols, which is definitely a treat. Each room is unique, and the property was stunning.
Cruise, Les Calanques
Along with all the hand sanitizer and face masks I’ve purchased over lockdown, I also did a lot of accessory shopping, for when we could travel again. As soon as the travel ban was lifted, I booked a tour of Les Calanques in Marseilles. After a year of being cooped up, I’m excited to be able to travel and see friends I haven’t seen in over a year.
Cabin getaway, Montana
My favorite summer activity is going somewhere where I can get fully immersed in nature. This year, I’m looking forward to a stay at this sweet cabin in Bozeman, Montana, and spending the days hiking and exploring nearby national parks.
Parrish Art Museum Midsummer Party, Hamptons
In August, I’m excited to attend the Parrish Art Museum’s Midsummer Party—god, how I’ve missed dancing! I’m thinking something fun, flirty, and slightly ridiculous for the occasion—Cult Gaia feathers anyone?!
The Glass House, Connecticut
Last weekend, I visited Philip Johnson’s The Glass House in New Canaan, CT. The house, painting, and sculpture galleries have finally reopened to indoor viewing after being closed during the pandemic. All of the indoor spaces are exquisite, but the entire surrounding property is totally worth wandering around in as well. Don’t forget you’re out in the woods deep in the burbs (and on grass), so I’d definitely recommend long pants and a pair of walkable, closed-toed shoes– especially after those summer storms!
