‘Help us manage’: Sainsbury’s urges customers to shop ‘one adult per household’

Sainsbury’s has regularly updated shoppers throughout the pandemic with how the supermarket is keeping its staff and customers safe. On Monday, wearing a face covering in England became a personal choice but the supermarket giant encourages customers to continue wearing one.
A third tweeted: “I’ve seen huge families shop in store at one time, the rule needs to be stricter.”
The supermarket giant also continues to have socially distanced queues outside where needed.
Sainsbury’s added: “We are following Government guidance and encourage you to please do the same by wearing a mask when you are in our stores.
“However, we completely understand if you are medically exempt from wearing a mask.
