Kamala Harris wears symbolic pearls and purple coat for Inauguration Day

Kamala Harris, 56, opted for a black face mask today and a bright purple coat for her visit to Cathedral of St.Matthew at Apostle. She also wore some special pieces of jewellery.

Rogers creates clothing with a “focus on effortful dressing, directed towards an individual with a strong sense of self,” according to his website.

The purple coat featured a low-neck and Kamala opted to keep the coat fastened. 

The long-length coat also had pockets to the side and featured a structured bodice. 

For hair, she went for a relaxed blow dry with loose waves.

Kamala and husband Doug Emhoff then joined Joe and Jill Biden walking up the steps into the US Capitol for the inauguration ceremony.

For footwear, Kamala went for matching accessories.

Her black face covering, black gloves and black high heels tied the bright look together.

Kamala’s outfits will likely remain symbolic throughout her vice presidency.
