Kate Holmes Was the Center of Attention While Wearing a Super Sheer Top

Katie Holmes was a springtime dream in New York City today.

The actress kicked off the week in a sunny look that is giving us all the office dressing inspiration. It was composed of a pastel yellow suit — a sleek blazer and structured wide-leg pants — and a shimmering sheer white netted top under which she wore a matching white bralette.

Holmes continued the powdery tones with beige suede pointed-toe heels and a light brown bag. She broke up the warm hues with a pair of silver-and-blue stone drop earrings and a silver nose ring.

As per usual, the actress kept her glam to a minimum, on this occasion opting for rosy makeup, a soft pink lip, and loose curls.

Holmes is getting ready for the release of her film Rare Objects, which, apart from starring in, she directed, produced, and co-wrote. The film, which she says is “about friendship, resilience, truth, and beauty,” will premiere in theaters and on demand on April 14.

Until then, Holmes is still hitting the theater stage regularly to star in the new Broadway production of The Wanderers. The play follows two couples as they go through the ups and downs of married life, ultimately to question whether they want what they think they’ve always wanted, if fulfillment is a social construct, and happiness is something that can ever be reached. Since premiering on February 16 (early performances started on January 26), it has gotten outstanding reviews.
