Kate Middleton and Camilla body language suggests ‘very few moments of close bonding’

Kate Middleton and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall could have similar royal roles in the future as both their husbands are in line to the British throne. However, a body language expert explained why they might not have formed “close bonds” despite an “affectionate” relationship.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, she said: “The body language signals between these two women (and future Queens) here suggest polite affection.”
Despite displaying fondness, the expert claimed their body language mostly shows they are not the closest of royals.
She stated Kate appears to get on with her father-in-law Prince Charles as more of a friend than she does with Camilla.
“Most of their poses together tend to be on more formal royal occasions,” Judi continued.

“This will have an impact but we can see add-on signs of active attention and shared humour between Kate and Charles to suggest some strong father-and-daughter-in-law rapport.
“There are very few moments between Kate and Camilla where we are shown the two women using the more emphatic tie-signs that might suggest similarly close, relaxed and more easy-going bonding.”
The expert compared Kate’s body language with Camilla to how the Duchess of Cambridge interacts with the Queen.
While Kate will make an effort to speak to the monarch on her own level, Judi claimed she has not done this with Camilla.
This could be highlighted when the royal women are with Prince Charles, as Kate will often show more affection with him.
Judi concluded: “The pair do clearly speak and exchange warm smiles.
“But it is Charles who seems to ‘light up’ the dynamic when he is present, cracking jokes and looking animated while Kate wrinkles her nose in a laugh of genuine humour and rapport while William and Camilla enjoy the fun from a slight distance.
“In many ways it looks as though it might be their shared affection for Charles is the prime tie that binds the two women.”
