While they had many similarities, Judi suggested Princess Diana used a more protective parenting style than the Duchess of Cambridge has.

She added: “One pose shows Diana’s rather protective-looking love for her sons. She and Harry are entwined and the way she leans back with both her arms cradling him easily and comfortably hints at her experience with small children.

“It’s a sweetly loving pose, with Diana’s face close to his as she chats to her son, making her look fiercely protective too.
