Kate has spoken about parenting in the past and such outings give a glimpse into the techniques she may use with her children.

Child development expert, psychologist and founder of the Good Play Guide Dr. Amanda Gummer spoke to Express.co.uk to share her insight on the Cambridges family trips.

The expert suggested Kate has been known to use “powerful” and effective parenting techniques with her children.

She commented: “It’s lovely to see the Duchess demonstrate some really powerful parenting techniques such as a focus on playfulness and meeting the children where they are at, getting down to their level and meeting their gaze when talking to them.”

When stepping out as a family, Kate has shown herself to have a hands-on parenting style.

“Both are important for positive mental health and to prevent issues developing that occur when children have vastly different rules for different occasions.”

While all parents face challenges, raising children in the public eye cannot be easy.

Once again, it appears to be something Kate has navigated around successfully with the young royals.

Dr. Gummer concluded: “It can be a real challenge for families growing up in the public eye to manage children’s natural behaviour and the Duchess seems to be navigating that road well.”
