Zara and Mike are one of the most tactile and loved-up royal couples. The pair are not afraid of a public kiss. Many couple’s body language changes over time, but not for Zara and Mike according to expert Judi James.

Both the royal and the sportsman are hugely successful in their own rights.

Mike has played rugby for England, while Zara has won Olympic medals for her country.

Judi said: “They will take it in turns to be the ‘hero’ when they are making appearances, with Zara happily lowering her own status and gazing up adoringly at Mike at Rugby-based events while he stands beaming proudly when Zara does her royal thing or appears as a sporting star in her own right.

“Both look resolutely cheerful and upbeat and this quality appears to have a contagious effect on some of the more formal members of the royal firm.”

She called the family’s dynamic “fascinating”.

She told Express.co.uk: “The body language of the five Cambridges as they make their red carpet debut together is undeniably adorable and possibly a first for the Royal Family as it is rare to see top tier royals like this out together in a relaxed, natural-looking line-up.”

The Duchess and proud mother in particular appeared to relish the moment, according to the expert.

Judi said: “Kate’s hair-tossing and her wide, beaming smile suggest she’s enjoying herself as much as the children and William’s slightly swaggering walk shows he’s very much the proud father here.”
