‘Pre-order now’: Aldi shares key dates for Specialbuys items – popular furniture back

Aldi is known for its Specialbuys which go on sale every Thursday and Sunday. Certain items, including the discounter’s furniture and garden range, have proved to be extremely popular this year, with products selling out instantly.

With temperatures continuing to rise in the UK, Aldi’s contemporary Wicker Garden Coffee Set is also available to pre-order.

The four piece, which costs £299.99, is designed with a glass-topped table, perfect for decking, patio or even the conservatory.

The stylish foam seats and back cushions make the experience extremely cosy and comfortable.

It is an online exclusive, meaning customers cannot find the set in store.

What’s more, Aldi is offering customers free standard delivery on orders over £30.

However, some advertised Specialbuys have been delayed over the last few months due to global shipping delays.

The discount supermarket regularly updates the affected items on its websites and customers can sign up to an email for the latest availability updates.

Aldi has also updated its shopping rules for customers to adhere to while grocery shopping in store.

In a message to customers, discount supermarket Aldi said that safety continues to be their number one priority.

The letter read: “From July 19, social distancing limits have been removed in England and the wearing of a face covering in public or crowded places is a personal choice.

“To ensure the safety of you and our colleagues, we ask that you continue to wear a face covering if you can.

“Our hand sanitiser and leaning stations remain in stores to use.”

The retailer also advises customers to keep a safe distance from other shoppers.

For customers in Scotland, a face mask is mandatory and access to Aldi stores will be denied if not wearing one.

The message added: “From July 19, all Scottish counties have moved to Level 0, which includes the wearing of face covering in public places (including our stores) and social distancing has reduced to one metre.

“Our hand sanitiser and cleaning stations remain in stores to use. We will update you on any further changes when they are announced.”

Shoppers in Wales are also required to continue wearing face coverings.
