Princess Charlene of Monaco has revealed her dramatic new look after shaving off half her hair. The royal ditched her signature blonde bob for the bold punk-inspired look.

Charlene will traditionally attend the festive event each year.

However, she attracted more attention this year as she unveiled her bold new haircut.

The royal – who has sported a light blonde bob for years – opted for a choppy look.

She appeared to have blended her dark blonde roots with golden blonde highlights.

As well as a new colour, Princess Charlene showed off her new haircut with half a half-shaved head and undercut.

The right side of her hair remained longer with a choppy side fringe.

The mother-of-two complemented her punk-inspired hairstyle with a dark blue smokey eye.

She covered the rest of her face in a festive gold sequins face mask.

She accessorised the look with a collection of earrings.

In one ear, she wore a silver stud and a gold spiral hoop earring.
