With consumer habits changing and more people shopping online, there are also top tips to help save money.

Supermarket websites also offer sections where customers can find the best deals available as well as in-store notices.

More and more retailers have started to offer customers loyalty schemes, which often see shoppers build up points in order to receive discounts or money-off in the future.

Retailers like Marks and Spencer, The Body Shop and Boots offer loyalty schemes as well as supermarkets including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Aldi and Morrisons.


Tesco Clubcards are a great way to earn points on a weekly shop, as well as saving money with Tesco’s partnerships.

Vouchers can be exchanged for experience days, restaurant meals as well as cinema tickets, meaning customers can make savings on more than their food shop.

The Too Good To Go App has also proved extremely popular in recent months, with savvy shoppers saving hundreds of pounds on food items.
