Tesco prides itself on helping its customers – and now it’s doing so no matter what the time of day. The supermarket giant has unveiled huge changes to its opening hours to help customers. Over 300 of Tesco’s largest-format stores are to stay open 24/7 in the run-up to Christmas.

Tesco has not yet confirmed its Christmas opening times for 2020.

Last year, Tesco Extras, Superstores and Metro stores opened as usual on Christmas Eve and closed at 7pm. Express stores closed at 10pm.

All Tesco stores were shut on Christmas Day and this is likely to be the case this year.

NHS, emergency service and care workers have priority access to Tesco supermarkets at any time.
