It’s been a minute since season 3 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel came out on Amazon. Though fans expected season 4 to hit the streaming platform at the end of 2020, the coronavirus pandemic caused considerable delays for production. Thankfully however, we know that The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel cast is now back in action, and we’ll soon get to see what happens next with Miriam Maisel (Rachel Brosnahan)’s budding comedy career.

When is the release date for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 4 ?
A premiere date for The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel season 4 has not yet been announced. If the past two seasons are any indication though, the next installment may premiere in December 2021.
Originally, production was supposed to start in late spring-early summer 2020, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the schedule was pushed back. Instead, the Maisel crew pivoted and aimed for the new year as their rescheduled start date. In the meantime, the New York-based series worked on pre-production, which included building new film sets and making new costumes.

Now with 2021 in full swing, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel cast has started filming season 4. According to Deadline, Amy and executive producer Daniel Palladino are “relying less on extras” this season for health reasons and will utilize “CGI to retain the rich visual feel of the show.”
