'Today' Anchor Craig Melvin Reveals the Best Part of His Day

Since 2018, Craig Melvin has been part of the amazing Today show cast, along with Al Roker, Sheinelle Jones and Dylan Dreyer.
Before landing this gig, Craig worked as a Saturday morning Today co-host alongside Dylan Dreyer and Sheinelle Jones. Longtime fans of Craig might recognize him from MSNBC, where he will continue to anchor the news on weekdays for the 1 p.m. hour, according to The Washington Post. The outlet also reports that before his MSNBC gig, Craig worked at WRC-TV in Washington D.C. as an NBC4 anchor.
But when you put Craig’s stellar broadcasting career aside, the Today star also happens to be blessed with a beautiful family. While at NBC4 in 2008, he met his now-wife, sports journalist Lindsay Czarniak. The New York Post reports that Lindsay, who worked at ESPN for six years, had just come back from covering the Beijing Olympics and happened to meet the “new guy” during a commercial break.
Apparently the pair hit it off immediately, reportedly bonding over their love of live music and Whatchamacallit candy bars. The two kept their relationship a secret from their colleagues for a few months. But, eventually, the couple became open about their romance and both decided that they were meant to be.
Three years later, the pair got married.
