Congratulations are in order for Stanley Tucci!

Season 1 of the actor’s original CNN series Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy showed foodies a different side of the country’s regions with incredible dishes and interesting history. Now, while many excitedly wait to hear more news about a season 2 premiere date, fans are celebrating the 60-year-old cookbook author’s latest accomplishment. On Sunday, Stanley’s Searching for Italy won Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series Or Special at the 73rd Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.

Unsurprisingly, Stanley’s fans immediately flooded Twitter, applauding the Devil Wears Prada star for his achievement on the small screen. “Congratulations! Well deserved! We watched every episode,” one person wrote. “It was fantastic…so glad he won!” another added. “Yay for Stanley! I loved that show so much,” a different fan said. “Bravo, love him!” a follower commented. “A delight to watch!” someone else added.

Stanley’s wife, literary agent Felicity Blunt, also shared a subtle, sweet message. “#proudproudproudproudproud,” she tweeted.

Searching for Italy was in the running alongside other beloved shows and specials, including Oprah With Meghan And Harry: A CBS Primetime Special, Netflix’s David Letterman’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, Showtime’s Vice and CNN’s United Shades Of America With W. Kamau Bell. The 73rd Primetime Emmy Awards will air on CBS September 19 at 8 p.m. ET.

In case you haven’t watched Stanley’s culinary adventure yet, Searching for Italy premiered on Valentine’s Day earlier this year and after only two episodes, it was picked up for a second season. Inspired by his own Italian heritage, Stanley wanted to share Italy’s history, culture and food through a show he’s been wanting to do for years. We’re so happy it came to fruition!
