What is a Rising sign? How to find your Sun, Moon and Rising sign

Astrology isn’t just about your Sun sign, also known as your star sign. In fact, when you read your horoscope you are not getting an accurate forecast if you only look at your Sun sign. Each person has a Moon and Rising sign too, as well as a number of other signs. The Sun, Moon and Rising signs are arguably the most important to understand. What are they?Express.co.ukreveals how to find your Sun, Moon and Rising sign.

Most people know their Sun sign, but have no idea what a natal chart is.

If you want a really accurate prediction of your future or explanation of why you possess certain traits, you can’t only use your Sun sign.

The star signs we all know and love only tell us where the Sun was at the time of birth, but that isn’t the whole picture.

The Oxford Dictionary definition of ‘horoscope’ is “a forecast of a person’s future, typically including a delineation of character and circumstances, based on the relative positions of the stars and planets at the time of that person’s birth.”

The problem with Sun sign astrology is that the Sun moves to a different sign every month or so.
