World of Warcraft’s Most Expensive Mounts
You would be amazed at some of the prices that you have to fork out for with WoW mounts.
If you are looking for WoW mounts for sale that are going to set you back a wealth of your real-world money, then you are in the right place. You would be surprised at just how much players are willing to part with in order to obtain a mount in World of Warcraft, and we aren’t just talking about having to buy WoW gold. Here is how much players spend on some of the most majestic mounts in World of Warcraft.
Reins of The Swift Spectral Tiger
If you are willing to part with $790 of your hard-earned cash, then you are rubbing shoulders with the others that have their hands on the Reins of the Swift Spectral Tiger. This mount first popped up back in 2007, as part of the Burning Crusade. The mount itself is owned by roughly 3% of players in World of Warcraft, so if you happen to have one then you are certainly a rare breed of WoW player.
Reins of the Spectral Tiger
Coming in at a slightly lower price of $565, the Swift Spectral Tiger is slightly different from the swift version. The swift rendition also has armored paws and tail, so it does probably have the better look to it arguably. Even so, you are still amongst a very elite club if you have this mount. It sits at around 3% of playerbase ownership as the swift tiger does.
Feldrake
Let’s move onto something a bit more airborne, shall we? The Feldrake won’t give you much change out of $300, but looking at it some players may feel like it is worth every single penny that you put into it. It is certainly rare to see one flying through the skies too, seeing as only around 2% of players own one. So keep your eyes peel for the Feldrake gracing the clouds above, though don’t hold out too much hope for seeing one.
Amani Dragonhawk
For a price of $200, you could get the Amani Dragonhawk since we are already on the topic of flying majestic creatures. Dating back an entire decade, the hawk is incredibly rare, once again falling into that 3% category that seems to keep cropping up on this here list. It is arguably one of the coolest looking flying mounts that you can get, so it’s worth considering when comparing it to others at a similar price range.
Magic Rooster Egg
Just shy of $270 is the Magic Rooster Egg. We are going back 12 years to see when this was introduced as part of an in-game patch. Many players yearn for riding around Azeroth and beyond on a massive chicken, though it is going to cost you. It might not be as pricey as others on the list, but considering just how different it looks from other WoW mounts, you can see why it would be so sought after.
Wooly White Rhino
What could be cooler than riding around on a giant rooster? How about a Wooly White Rhino for $70 less? This mount dates back to the Wrath of the Lich King days, this would be exceptionally cool to be riding around on. Especially if you are looking for something that is especially intimidating, but also sits in that incredibly rare pool that other WoW mounts on the list are in. So if you’re a fan of rhinos, go ahead and treat yourself.
X-51 Nether Rocket X-Treme
To round of the list, we should probably look at something that is more object than a living creature, which in this case is the X-51 Nether Rocket X-Treme. At $195, this mount arrived sometime in 2008, and gave players of World of Warcraft that rare opportunity they may have not known they were looking for by riding around on a rocket. Sporting a red body and flames shooting out of the back, who wouldn’t want to ride this exclusive mount? Perhaps those who aren’t willing to pay so much for an inanimate object to serve as their mount? Maybe so, but it certainly does provide you with a unique experience that you wouldn’t otherwise have had when playing World of Warcraft.
So if you were willing to pay for such WoW mounts for sale, then you now have a better idea in which you could hand over several hundred dollars in exchange for one of these creatures. If that is something you are game for, then you certainly have an awesome collection to choose from here.
