‘Yellowstone’ Fans, You’ll 100% Freak Out After Hearing This Latest Season 5 News

Season 4 of Yellowstone ended on an emotional note. After John (Kevin Costner), Kayce (Luke Grimes) and Beth (Kelly Reilly) survived a fiery militia attack, it was only a matter of time before it was revealed Riggins (Bruno Amato) ordered it. Despite having plans to kill Riggins in jail, seeing him behind bars ended up being enough for Beth, prompting her to shift her focus to getting revenge against Jamie (Wes Bentley). While she didn’t fulfill her promise of killing him, she did back him into a corner.

But where does the Dutton family go from here? Yellowstone fans are ready to dive into the next chapter and are already asking if the show will have a fifth season. We’ve got the latest about a potential next installment of the hit Paramount Network drama.

When is Yellowstone coming back for season 5?

Yellowstone has not been renewed for season 5, and there is no official premiere date.

Since the series first began in June 2018, Paramount Network has continued to enthusiastically renew the show for multiple seasons. A month after Yellowstone season 1 went on air, the show was renewed for season 2 in July 2018. The next year, in June 2019, just hours before season 2 premiered, Yellowstone was renewed for season 3. And months before new episodes came out, the show was once again renewed for season 4 in February 2020.

All that said, folks can expect an announcement about a fifth season in the near future. Though there hasn’t been any word from TV executives, actor Cole Hauser, who plays Rip, has pretty much confirmed season 5 of Yellowstone will happen. Speaking at a virtual event in March 2021, he opened up about what was happening behind the scenes.

“[Showrunner and writer Taylor Sheridan] is working on it right now,” Cole said. “Season five is going to be wonderful. The way we ended season four — I can’t give too much away, but the way season four ends, I think the audience… will be happily surprised.”

Will Kevin Costner, and the entire cast, be in season 5 of Yellowstone?

Given how Yellowstone’s latest episode left off, it’s almost a guarantee that Kevin Costner, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Gil Birmingham and Forrie J. Smith, among others will return. After all, there are so many unanswered questions that need to be addressed ASAP.

Will the disgraced attorney general have a seat at the dining table again, or will he be used for bidding? Will Rip find out the whole truth about why Beth can’t have children? Will Kayce learn more about what his vision meant?

Where can I watch all seasons of Yellowstone?

Amazon Prime Video

Despite Yellowstone airing episodes on the Paramount Network TV channel, the show isn’t available on Paramount+. (But the prequel, 1883, and spinoff, 6666, live on the streaming platform.) Yellowstone also isn’t available to watch on Hulu or Netflix. Fortunately, if you do have the Paramount Network channel, Yellowstone marathons are always on, so you can catch one live or set your DVR.

You can also watch Yellowstone on Peacock Premium. NBC’s streaming service currently has seasons 1, 2 and 3 available on demand. Season 4 has yet to be added to its library but will most likely be on the platform shortly. If you don’t have a login, you can try out the service with a free seven-day trial and then sign up for Peacock Premium for $4.99 per month.

Otherwise, you can watch Yellowstone episodes on iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, Google Play or Vudu.
