Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris rewards this week: Check out the latest Bungie loot report

UPDATE: The Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris begins anew today, and Bungie has selected Javelin-4  as the map Guardians will be battling on across PS4, Xbox One and PC. At the start of the competition, only Anomaly could be selected.

It will take a little longer to get the full Destiny 2 Trials rewards list, but so far, Guardians are confirming that they can unlock the chest piece with three wins.

Three Wins: Chest Piece

Five Wins: Eye of Sol Sniper

Seven Wins: Class Item

Flawless: Shayura’s Wrath Adept SMG

ORIGINAL: The Destiny 2 Trials of Osiris will be offering a new list of rewards when it returns later today across PS4, Xbox One and PC.

Teams of three will be taking on the crucible challenge during a busy week that has already seen the start of the 2021 Solstice of Heroes and the return of Master Difficulty in Vault of Glass.

The best loot will be reserved for those Guardians who can make it into the Lighthouse, with Flawless rewards usually offering Adept options.

The Trials of Osiris will start at 6pm BST on Friday, July 9, 2021, and the new rewards curated by Bungie will be available between now and the next Weekly Reset, which is scheduled for July 6.

It could take an hour for Guardians to find out the full list of weapons and items available this week.

But we should know the three-win item and the map selection within a few minutes of Trials coming back online.

Saint-14 is the full-time Trials of Osiris vendor who currently resides in the Tower Hangar with his pigeons and ship.

And visiting him will be worth it for those who can smash through the Crucible and score some wins as Saint’s inventory updates with Trials Passages, Bounties, and the option to turn in Trials Tokens.

The map rotations continue each week, although Bungie has made changes to the weapons you can pick up during an event.

Last week saw Bungie offer Sola’s Scar Legendary Sword, Trials Helmet/Armour, Igneous Hammer Legendary Hand Cannon, and the Flawless: The Messenger Adept Pulse Rifle

Details on other aspects of the Trials experience can be found below, courtesy of Bungie:

Trials Passages: “There are five unique Passages that can be bought from Saint-14 which offer their own mechanics. Each Passage will track wins and losses in a single Trials run. If three losses appear on a Passage, players will be restricted from the activity and have to either reset the Passage or purchase a new one.”

Mercy: Always available and Forgives one loss per run.

Ferocity: Always available and with zero losses, your Third Win grants a Bonus Win.

Confidence: Unlocks after going Flawless and grants a bonus reward from the Flawless chest.

Wealth: Unlocks at 5 wins and Increases Trials tokens from completing and winning Trials matches.

Wisdom: Unlocks at 7 wins and grants bonus XP from Trials Wins, scaling with the number of Wins on a Ticket.

Trials Bounties: Along with Passages, players can also purchase three different Trials Bounties which will reward players for completing them: Weekly Bounties will reward XP, Glimmer, 35 Valor Rank Points, and 5 Trials Tokens; Daily Bounties will reward XP, 15 Valor Rank Points, and 2 Trials Tokens; and Additional Bounties will offer XP and 2 Trials Tokens.

Meanwhile, Guardians can start unlocking the new Solstice of Heroes armour set, which can be done by heading over to the European Aerial Zone to chase after chests and fragments.

This will also mean upgrading your armour when you’ve collected, with the returning event set to run until early August.

Solstice of Heroes has an end date scheduled for August 3, with more big updates planned for later that month, as well as a look ahead at what’s coming next for the popular free-to-play game.
