Although the specifications on the upcoming Vivo X80 series popped up just after the Vivo X70 was launched, there are fresh insights found on Weibo (via MySmartPrice) that tell us what can be expected. The vanilla Vivo X80 smartphone is expected to get a Dimensity 8000 processor from MediaTek while the Vivo X80 Pro could get the Dimensity 9000 chipset. The higher-spec Vivo X80 Pro+ is likely to get the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC from Qualcomm. The devices are likely to get LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage options.

The Vivo X80 is also likely to get a 6.56-inch LTPO FHD+ AMOLED display. The higher-spec Vivo X80 Pro and Vivo X80 Pro+ are expected to use a 6.78-inch LTPO 2.0 E5 AMOLED display panel. While the Vivo X80 Pro is expected to make do with an FHD+ resolution the higher-end Vivo X80 pro+ is likely to benefit from a QHD display. All three models are will get high refresh displays.

In terms of optics, the Vivo X80 is expected to house a 50MP GN5 camera, a 13MP camera, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 lens with 2x optical zoom. The X80 Pro has two 50MP JN1 sensors accompanied by a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor with 2X optical zoom. The Vivo X80+ model is likely to get a 50MP and a 48MP Sony IMX598 sensor, a 50MP JN1 sensor with 2X optical zoom, and another 50MP JN1 sensor. The X80 and X80 Pro models will feature a 44MP selfie camera and an X80 Pro+ to get a 50MP front shooter. 

The Vivo X80 model is expected to get 55W fast charging while the X80 Pro and X80 Pro+ models will get a 50W wireless charging and 66W wired fast charging support.
